1. Data Protection

We are pleased that you are visiting our websites and are interested in our services. The protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. In this Privacy Policy, we inform you about how we collect your personal data, for what purposes and on what legal basis we process it, as well as your related rights and claims.

2. Data Processed for Website Operation and Log File Creation

a) Technical Implementation (Hosting)

An external service provider (hosting provider) is responsible for the technical operation of our website. Personal data may be stored on the hosting provider’s servers, including:

  • IP address of the computer from which the request was sent
  • Browser information (web browser used, operating system, language settings, etc.)
  • Information about the server service used
  • Protocol version
  • Name of the retrieved file or page (URL)
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Status information (e.g., error messages)

The use of a hosting provider serves the purpose of ensuring a fast, secure, and efficient provision of our website by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) has been concluded with the hosting provider to ensure GDPR-compliant processing of personal data.

b) SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries submitted through our contact form, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption.

You can recognize an encrypted connection when the browser address changes from “http://” to “https://” and a padlock icon appears in your browser’s address bar.

When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, data transmitted to us cannot be read by third parties.

c) Data Retention Period

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose. If no specific retention period is stated in this Privacy Policy, your data will remain with us until the purpose for processing ceases to apply.

If you submit a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless there are other legally permissible reasons for retention (e.g., tax or commercial retention obligations). In such cases, deletion will take place once those reasons no longer apply.

Data collected for the provision of the website is deleted after the end of the respective session. Log files are deleted no later than 30 days after collection. However, we reserve the right to review server log files retrospectively if there is a concrete suspicion of unlawful use. In exceptional cases, longer retention may be necessary. In such cases, IP addresses are deleted or anonymized so that assignment to a specific client is no longer possible.

3. Rights of Data Subjects

a) Right to Object and Removal

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are technically necessary. If you object to such processing, certain website functions may no longer be available.

b) Right to Object Pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The controller will no longer process your personal data unless compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

The collection of data for website provision and the storage of log files are essential for the operation of the website.

c) Right of Access

Under Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the personal data we process concerning you.

d) Right to Rectification

Under Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data. If your data is incomplete, you may request its completion.

e) Right to Erasure

Under Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.

f) Right to Restriction of Processing

Under Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. In such cases, the data may only be processed, for example, with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

g) Right to Notification

If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, the controller must notify all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

You also have the right to be informed about those recipients.

h) Right to Data Portability

The right to data portability does not apply where processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

In all other cases, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

4. Objection to Promotional Emails

The use of contact data published as part of the legal notice requirements for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited.

The website operator reserves the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.

b) Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, we store the information provided, including your contact details, for the purpose of processing your request and any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

Processing is based either on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on our legitimate interest in efficiently handling inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where contact is made in connection with a contract or intended contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based either on our legitimate interest in handling inquiries efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where obtained.

The data you provide will remain stored until you request deletion, revoke consent, or the purpose for storage ceases to apply. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

6. Analytics Tools

WP Statistics

This website uses the analytics tool WP Statistics to statistically evaluate visitor access. The provider is Veronalabs, ARENCO Tower, 27th Floor, Dubai Media City, Dubai, 23816, UAE.

WP Statistics analyzes website usage. Among other things, log files are collected, including referral source, browser type, user origin, and search engine used. Visitor actions on our website (e.g., clicks and page views) are also recorded.

Visitors’ IP addresses are processed in a privacy-friendly manner immediately after collection. The last segment of the IP address is masked, preventing complete storage. In addition, IP addresses are converted into a non-reversible unique string, preventing direct identification.

All data collected by WP Statistics is stored exclusively on our own server. No data is transferred to WordPress or other third parties.

The use of this tool is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize our website and marketing activities. Where consent has been provided (e.g., for storing cookies), processing is based solely on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in protecting our website against attacks. Where consent has been provided, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
