ASELSAN closed 2024 with over 1 billion USD export deals

ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading defence company, achieved an outstanding performance in
international sales in 2024 and exceeded US$1 billion of export contracts. Direct exports
doubled compared to the previous year, reaching US$217 million, while indirect exports
through land, naval, and air platforms totaled US$291 million, leading to an overall export
volume of US$508 million, demonstrating ASELSAN’s growing influence in global markets.
In 2024, the manufacturer signed contracts with seven countries for the first time, bringing the total number of countries, which trust ASELSAN technology to 92. In addition, 31 products were exported for the first time, including: ASELFLIR-500 camera; GÖZDE and KGK guidance kits; CENK naval radars; FERSAH anti-submarine sonar; and more. Among them, its ASELFLIR-500 new-generation electro-optical system, notable for its superior performance on unmanned aircraft (drones), was sold to 16 countries in its first production year.

New offices opened in six different countries in 2024 have expanded ASELSAN’s global presence to 20 countries, enhancing its ability to provide better services to the end-users. By supplying the Ku-band and X-band LOCUS communications payloads for Turkey’s first domestic communications satellite, TÜRKSAT-6A, ASELSAN has become capable of providing communications solutions to all platforms, from the depths of the sea to the depths of space.

In addition to ASELSAN’s FERSAH 100N/MF hull-mounted sonar, the Turkish Naval Forces‘ new İstanbul (or „I“) class frigates (originally known as the TF-100 class under MİLGEM-G designation) are fitted with a full assortment of ASELSAN’s radar expertise: CENK-400N 4D AESA search radar; ALPER-200N LPI (low probability of intercept) surface radar; and AKREP-300N (AKR-D Block B-1/2) fire control radar.
